Tunnel Vision : The tendency to focus only on the immediate crisis or sore spot . Under stress, things look worse or more complex than they really are.

The solution
Perspective : Ask if it will matter in 6 months . Ask what else is going on? How did I create this situation and, in an ideal world, what would I like to do about it?

2. Fear : The anxiety or terror that things will go badly, that we will fail or be embarrassed.

The solution
Humor and Curiosity : Modern life has very few saber-tooth tigers . The situation is rarely life or death . Ask, What's the worst that can happen? What's the best? What can I learn? What would I do if I had no fear?

3. Confusion : The sense of being lost or unclear about our direction . The sense that we don't know our own priorities anymore.

The solution
Responsible Choices : Choose your values and priorities and set your own path . Your life is yours . Check your moral compass, pick a direction and do something extraordinary!

4. Guilt : The belief that we have hurt or failed or sinned and deserve punishment . Guilt is either accurate, because sometimes we do behave badly, or it is false and simply an illusion.

The solution
If we have transgressed, we must make restitution, ask forgiveness, learn from our error and move on . If it is false guilt, set it down as an unnecessary and irrational burden.

5. Shame : The belief that we are worth-less than others, that we have a terrible, incurable flaw . It is not that we have done something wrong (guilt), but that we are bad or wrong.

The solution
Clear, rational thinking : Everyone has behaved badly, but no one was created badly! Any flaws only serve to make you stronger, more heroic or more compassionate toward others.

6. Loneliness : The belief that no one loves us, that no one cares and we must desperately cling to anyone who finds us attractive or acceptable . This creates dependency, not intimacy.

The solution
Accurate Self-Assessment : Not everyone will love you, but many people will if they meet you, get to know you, and spend time working/playing along side you.

7. Resentment : Holding anger and refusing to move beyond real or imagined mistreatment in the past . Some people spend their whole lives as "victims", nurturing a terrible event in their past.

The solution
Let go! Life is not fair and people do not always behave well or kindly . Use your trauma to make you wise, kind, gentle, and strong . Holding anger will not work.

8. Self-Doubt : The repeated, endless questioning of your own abilities, opinions or actions . The inability to take a stand, to act boldly, or to follow-through.

The solution
Action! Think clearly, then take action and follow-through : Start small, but do it! You are the world's expert on your life! Use your wisdom to live well.

9. Stubbornness : The refusal or inability to re-assess a situation, change your mind, or admit you were wrong.

The solution
Wisdom and Humility : Only a fool stays on a course that is headed for disaster! Search for new and better information, remain flexible, open and creative . When the situation changes, adjust accordingly and set a new course.

10. Addiction : Humans become addicted to drugs, but we also become addicted to our jobs, our opinions or our lifestyle . We can be addicted to people and need them rather than love them.

The solution
Take a vacation! Periodically, walk in someone else's shoes . Break your habits, re-arrange your schedule, delegate those things that only you can do "right" . Use habits and traditions to set you free, don't let habits enslave you!

God Bless...........

Funny Interview Questions & Answers

How to Answer the Tough Interview Questions

A lot of people know how to write a resume and talk their way into an interview. But when they get into the make or break dialogue, they stumble upon tough questions. Below, is some advice on approaching the tough questions that interviewers like to throw at job applicants:

Why did you leave your last job?
Real answer: It sucked.
What you should say: I felt my talents and abilities were underutilized.

What are your biggest weaknesses?
Real answer: I can't concentrate for more than five minutes, hate all forms of authority and tend to fall asleep at my desk.
What you should say: I'm a workaholic. I just don't know when to put down my work.

You don't seem to hold on to a job long. Why should we think you'll stay here any longer than you've stayed elsewhere?
Real answer: My employers have always had a hang-up about keeping only competent employees..
What you should say: I'm at a point in my career where I am tired of moving around. I really want to feel part of a team, a long-term enterprise, where I can make a contribution.
For all those of u aiming for job switches...............

How do you handle change?
Real answer: I deal with it everyday, unless I'm out of clean underwear.
What you should say: I think everyone knows that today the only constant is change. I thrive on it.

How do you get along with others?
Real answer: Fine, as long as they stay out of my face.
What you should say: I think the interpersonal dynamics of the workplace can be among the most satisfying aspects of any job.

What does the word success mean to you?
Real answer: It means that I don't have to drag my sorry ass out of bed to kiss yours.
What you should say: Success, for me, would be knowing I am making a difference working with a team of people to make a more profitable enterprise.

What does the word failure mean to you?
Real answer: It means I continue to collect unemployment insurance.
What you should say: Failure? Press Ctrl+F (Mac users use Command+F).
2. Type b:skin and press Enter until you find the code that looks like this: It is probably almost at the bottom of the template.

We are going to add some code now.

1. Paste the following code right above the that you just found:

#navbar-iframe {
height:0px;
visibility:hidden;
display:none
}

The end result is that your code should look like this:

#navbar-iframe {
height:0px;
visibility:hidden;
display:none
}
≶/b:skin>

2. Press the Preview button so you can see if the navbar is gone.
3. If you get called to do an interview with the media, you have to prepare for the media interview.
Following are some interview tips for media:

1. Arrival and location

You have to arrive at the media outlet 5-10 minutes early. You have to allow plenty of time for the unexpected that is for no parking space or traffic. If interview is at your office, then be prepared early. If the interview is in your office, tidy up. Put away piles of papers and clutter.

2. Do your homework

Preparation always increases your confidence. You must stay up on current events. Find out questions and prepare answers.

3. Dress Appropriately

Dress in a way that makes you feels confident. If on television:
* for men, a dark suit and blue shirt is best.
* For women, avoid solid black or white patterns. Bright colors are fine.

4. Don't fill the gaps

After answering a question, stop talking. You have no obligation to keep the interview going. If the reporter has further questions he/she will ask.

5. Be a good listener

You have to listen carefully. Don't interrupt the interviewer; begin your answer when the reporter is finished. If you are not getting the question, then ask for clarification.

6. Do's for media interview

* At the time of television interview, look at the interviewer and not at the camera.
* Use the interviewer's name in conversation. It creates a more intimate conversation and it makes the interviewer feel good.
* All people in your organization who are likely to be contacted by a reporter must give essentially the same answer. Disagreement will give the reporter just the controversy he's probably seeking.
* When a reporter calls requesting an interview, don't hesitate to ask the subject of the interview and for some sample questions. If you need time to collect your thoughts then ask about that.
* Have printed materials to support your information whenever possible in order to help the reporter minimize errors.
* During an interview, speak simply, use metaphors that help to convey complex ideas in everyday terms and explain technical terms if you must use them.
* During radio or television interview, think before you speak. Avoid fillers such as uh, ah, well, yeah.
* Establish a reputation of accessibility with reporters so that they will check with you before publishing bad news about your organization.
* Remember a reporter asks questions because it's his job, but it's not compulsory for you to answer all of them.
* If the reporter's questions don't relate to the main point of your research, then let him/her know about this.
* Remember you are the expert, not the reporter. If you think reporter's information is incorrect, then do not hesitate to correct it.
* Tell the positive side of the story.
* Remember that it is a common practice for reporters to record all conversations conducted over a telephone.
* Always keep an eye on the clock.
* Keep in mind that nobody is perfect. If you discover after an interview that one of the facts you gave is incorrect, call the reporter back with the correct information.
* Give positive feedback to reporters after a story appears.

# Don'ts for media interview

* Don't over react to a reporter's questions by becoming angry.
* Don't answer a question out of your area of expertise, even if you know the correct answer.
* Don't try to stop a story.
* Don't tell a reporter more than he/she wants to know.
* Don't discuss specific information that would tend to give aid to the competition.
* Don't repeat negative questions in a response.
* Don't argue with a reporter, even when provoked.
* Don't blame anyone for anything.
* Don't say "no comment".
* Don't allow the reporter to compare yourself or your organization to anyone/anything else.
* Don't ask the reporter when the story will appear.
* Don't drop your guard when the interview is over.
* Don't give additional publicity to bad news.
* Don't expect every word, fact and figure to be reported.

# Stay calm

Be friendly even when the interviewer isn't. Avoid arguments. Be cool and positive.

# Be concise

Always keep answers short and must related to the point. You have to give a chance of being quoted correctly.

# Be accurate

The information provided must be absolutely accurate. If the information provided is wrong then your credibility can be destroyed.

# Keep it simple

You must avoid the abbreviations during the interview. You have to use the language that will understand by the public.

# Be comfortable and take charge

If the interviewer interrupts before you finish answering a question, then pause, listen and then continue to answer the initial question. "While I was on a long-distance phone call, the applicant took out a copy of Penthouse, and looked through the photos only, stopping longest at the centerfold."

24. "During the interview, an alarm clock went off from the candidate's brief case. He took it out, shut it off, apologized and said he had to leave for another interview."

25. "A telephone call came in for the job applicant. It was from his wife. His side of the conversation went like this: "Which company? When do I start? What's the salary?" I said, "I assume you're not interested in conducting the interview any further." He promptly responded, "I am as long as you'll pay me more." "I didn't hire him, but later found out there was no other job offer. It was a scam to get a higher offer."

26. "An applicant came in wearing only one shoe. She explained that the other shoe was stolen off her foot in the bus."

27. "His attache [case] opened when he picked it up and the contents spilled, revealing ladies' undergarments and assorted makeup and perfume."

28. "He came to the interview with a moped and left it in the reception area. He didn't want it to get stolen, and stated that he would require indoor parking for the moped."

29. "He took off his right shoe and sock, removed a medicated foot powder and dusted it on the foot and in the shoe. While he was putting back the shoe and sock, he mentioned that he had to use the powder four times a day, and this was the time."

30. "He whistled when the interviewer was talking."

32. "... asked who the lovely babe was, pointing to the picture on my desk. When I said it was my wife, he asked if she was home now and wanted my phone number. I called security."

33. "... she threw-up on my desk, and immediately started asking questions about the job, like nothing had happened."

34. "Pointing to a black case he carried into my office, he said that if he was not hired, the bomb would go off. Disbelieving, I began to state why he would never be hired and that I was going to call the police. He then reached down to the case, flipped a switch and ran. No one was injured, but I did need to get a new desk."

35. "... asked if I wanted some cocaine before starting the interview."

Life's Instructions to All People!!

1. While it is but normal for you to want only the best for yourselves, that is the source of your problems and stress. That all of you really wanted was coffee, not the cup, but you consciously went for the better cups and are eyeing each other's cups."

"Now, if Life is coffee, then the jobs, money and position in society are the cups. They are just tools to hold and contain Life, but the quality of Life doesn't change. Sometimes, by concentrating only on the cup, we fail to enjoy the coffee in it."

So friend, don't let the cups drive you...enjoy the coffee instead.

Email Etiquettes - Learn how Write

Email Etiquettes - Learn how to Write Emails...!

Here are some points on email etiquettes that will definitely help.

1) The font of mail should be Verdana and font size should be 9.5 or 10.

2) The mail should have a Pyramid Structure i.e. it should contain:

* Situation: What's the current situation is
* Action items: What you expect from the reader of the mail to-do
* Information: The information you want to give to the reader
* Conclusion: Conclude with a Thank You.

3) For writing use only Black or Blue color. For highlighting purpose make the word bold. Avoid using Red color as Red signifies danger, so use it when urgent.

4) For greetings in mail:

*         For Americans: use Hi
*         For Europeans: use Hello
*         For Asians: use Dear

To be more formal we could use Dear Mr. /Ms. followed by Last name or Full name. We should not use Dear Mr. /Ms. followed by First name alone.

5) We should not put '/' in greetings like Hi X/Y. Instead we should say Hi X and Y.

6) We should not use 'Thanks and Regards'. Instead we should say:

Thank you
Regards
<your name="">

7) For requesting something we should not use can, instead we should use could.

Cool We should not write 'Please find the attached file' because the reader does not have to find or search for the file in the mail it's already there. So instead we should write
'The file has been attached for your reference'.

9) We should not use sentences like 'As per your mail' because 'per' is used only with units like per Kg etc. Instead we should write 'According to your mail'.

10) We should use parallel structure. Parallelism enables readers to read documents more efficiently. For e.g. The analysis will include planning, organizing, dividing and assessment
(Instead assessment we should write Assessing) of turnaround functions.

11) In our mails we often write 'Please revert back'. Instead we should only write 'Please revert'.

12) For the Signature in mail, if we are sending to people in our company only then we should not write our company name in the signature because they already know that we are part of the same company but if we are sending mail to an external party like client etc then we should write our company name in the signature because there we have to brand our company name in front of others.

Yours Friendly,

Thanks :))</your>

Laughter

Many years ago, Norman Cousins was diagnosed as terminally ill. He was given six months to live. His chance for recovery was one in 500.

He could see the worry, depression and anger in his life contributed to, and perhaps helped cause, his disease. He wondered, If illness can be caused by negativity, can wellness be created by positivity He decided to make an experiment of himself.

Laughing was one of the most positive activities he knew. He rented all the funny movies he could find - Keaton, Chaplin, Fields, the Marx Brothers. (This was before VCRs, so he had to rent the actual films.) He read funny stories. He asked his friends to call him whenever they said, heard or did something funny.

His pain was so great he could not sleep. Laughing for 10 solid minutes, he found, relieved the pain for several hours so he could sleep. He fully recovered from his illness and lived another 20 happy, healthy and productive years. (His journey is detailed in his book, Anatomy of an Illness.) He credits visualization, the love of his family and friends, and laughing for his recovery.

Some people think laughing is a waste of time. It is a luxury, they say, a frivolity, something to indulge in only every so often. Nothing could be further from the truth. Laughing is essential to our equilibrium, to our well-being, to our aliveness. If we're not well, laughing helps us get well; if we are well, laughing helps us stay that way.

Since Cousins' ground-breaking subjective work, scientific studies have shown that laughter has a curative effect on the body, the mind and the emotions. So, if you like laughing, consider it sound medical advice to indulge in it as often as you can. If you don't like laughter, then take your medicine - laugh anyway.

Use whatever makes you laugh - movies, sitcoms, Monty Python, records, books, New Yorker cartoons, jokes, friends.

Give yourself permission to laugh - long and loud and out loud - whenever anything strikes you as funny. The people around you may think you're strange, but sooner or later they'll join in even if they don't know what you're laughing about.

Some diseases may be contagious, but none is as contagious as the cure. . . laughter.

Judging Character

A lady in a faded gingham dress and her husband, dressed in a homespun threadbare suit, stepped off the train in Boston, and walked timidly without an appointment into the president of Harvard's outer office. The secretary could tell in a moment that such backwoods, country hicks had no business at Harvard and probably didn't even
deserve to be in Cambridge.

She frowned. "We want to see the president," the man said softly. "He'll be busy all day," the secretary snapped. "We'll wait," the lady replied.

For hours, the secretary ignored them, hoping that the couple would finally become discouraged and go away. They didn't. And the secretary grew frustrated and finally decided to disturb the president, even though it was a chore she always regretted to do. "Maybe if they just see you for a few minutes, they'll leave," she told him. And he sighed in exasperation and nodded.

Someone of his importance obviously didn't have the time to spend with them, but he detested gingham dresses and homespun suits cluttering up his outer office. The president, stern-faced with dignity, strutted toward the couple. The lady told him, "We had a son that attended Harvard for one year. He loved Harvard. He was happy here. But about a year ago, he was accidentally killed. And my husband and I would like to erect a memorial to him, somewhere on campus."

The president was not touched; he was shocked. "Madam," he said gruffly. "We can't put up a statue for every person who attended Harvard and died. If we did, this place would look like a cemetery".

"Oh, no," the lady explained quickly. "We don't want to erect a statue. We thought we would like to give a building to Harvard." The president rolled his eyes. He glanced at the gingham dress and homespun suit, and then exclaimed, "A building! Do you have any earthly idea how much a building costs? We have over seven and a half million dollars in the physical plant at Harvard."

For a moment the lady was silent. The president was pleased. He could get rid of them now. And the lady turned to her husband and said quietly, "Is that all it costs to start a University? Why don't we just start our own?" Her husband nodded. The president's face wilted in confusion and bewilderment.

And Mr. and Mrs. Leland Stanford walked away, traveling to Palo Alto, California where they established the University that bears their name, a memorial to a son that Harvard no longer cared about.

You can easily judge the character of others by how they treat those who can do nothing for them or to them.

The 90/10 Principle

Discover the 90/10 Principle. It will change your life (at least the way you react to situations). What is this principle?

10% of life is made up of what happens to you. 90% of life is decided by how you react. What does this mean?

We really have no control over 10% of what happens to us. We cannot stop the car from breaking down. The plane will be late arriving, which throws our whole schedule off. A driver may cut us off in traffic. We have no control over this 10%. The other 90% is different. You determine the other 90%.

How? By your reaction. You cannot control a red light., but you can control your reaction. Don't let people fool you; YOU can control how you react.

Let's use an example.
You are eating breakfast with your family. Your daughter knocks over a cup of coffee onto your business shirt. You have no control over what just what happened. What happens when the next will be determined by how you react. You curse. You harshly scold your daughter for knocking the cup over.

She breaks down in tears. After scolding her, you turn to your spouse and criticize her for placing the cup too close to the edge of the table. A short verbal battle follows. You storm upstairs and change your shirt. Back downstairs, you find your daughter has been too busy crying to finish breakfast and get ready for school. She misses the bus. Your spouse must leave immediately for work.

You rush to the car and drive your daughter to school. Because you are late, you drive 40 miles an hour in a 30 mph speed limit. After a 15-minute delay and throwing $60 traffic fine away, you arrive at school. Your daughter runs into the building without saying goodbye. After arriving at the office 20 minutes late, you find you forgot your briefcase. Your day has started terrible. As it continues, it seems to get worse and worse. You look forward to coming home, When you arrive home, you find small wedge in your relationship with your spouse and daughter.

Why? Because of how you reacted in the morning. Why did you have a bad day?

A) Did the coffee cause it?
B) Did your daughter cause it?
C) Did the policeman cause it?
D) Did you cause it?

The answer is " D".

You had no control over what happened with the coffee.
How you reacted in those 5 seconds is what caused your bad day. Here is what could have and should have happened.

Coffee splashes over you. Your daughter is about to cry. You gently say, "It's ok honey, you just need, to be more careful next time". Grabbing a towel you rush upstairs. After grabbing a new shirt and your briefcase, you come back down in time to look through the window and see your child getting on the bus. She turns and waves. You arrive 5 minutes early and cheerfully greet the staff. Your boss comments on how good the day you are having.

Notice the difference?
Two different scenarios. Both started the same. Both ended different.

Why? Because of how you REACTED.
You really do not have any control over 10% of what happens. The other 90% was determined by your reaction.

Here are some ways to apply the 90/10 principle.
If someone says something negative about you, don't be a sponge. Let the attack roll off like water on glass. You don't have to let the negative comment affect you! React properly and it will not ruin your day. A wrong reaction could result in losing a friend, being fired, getting stressed out etc.

How do you react if someone cuts you off in traffic? Do you lose your temper? Pound on the steering wheel? A friend of mine had the steering wheel fall off)
Do you curse? Does your blood pressure skyrocket? Do you try and bump them? WHO CARES if you arrive ten seconds later at work? Why let the cars ruin your drive?
Remember the 90/10 principle, and do not worry about it.

You are told you lost your job. Why lose sleep and get irritated? It will work out. Use your worrying energy and time into finding another job.The plane is late; it is going to mangle your schedule for the day. Why take out your frustration on the flight attendant? She has no control over what is going on. Use your time to study, get to know the other passenger.
Why get stressed out? It will just make things worse. Now you know the 90-10 principle. Apply it and you will be amazed at the results. You will lose nothing if you try it.

The 90-10 principle is incredible. Very few know and apply this principle.

The result? Millions of people are suffering from undeserved stress, trials, problems and heartache.

We all must understand and apply the 90/10 principle.

It CAN change your life!!!

Speak English with Body Language

When we speak, we use much more than just words. We also communicate with our face, our hands, and even our own body. This kind of communication can be called "body language" or "non-verbal communication". Non-verbal communication not only includes how we move our body, but also hand gestures, facial expressions including eye contact, and how we use our voice. Psychologists estimate that between 60% and 80% of all of our communication with other people is non-verbal. We communicate a wide range of information non-verbally. We also show our feelings, attitudes, moods, hopes and wishes far better with non-verbal language than with words.

Not only is a large QUANTITY of communication non-verbal in nature, but the QUALITY is high as well. For example, if a person says something positive while his face looks negative, which are we more likely to believe? In most cases, we will believe the non-verbal facial expression. In the end, his words will not succeed in communicating his message. If we want to succeed in our everyday conversations, we really must learn to "speak" with our body well!

Let me begin by giving you some general advice. The main thing is to relax and be natural. Trying too hard to use "body language" will make you seem a bit strange. Instead, you should allow your body language to naturally follow your words. If you say something positive, then your face, body and hands should show it too. If you are expressing a sad or worried feeling, then your face, body and hands should change with that feeling. As you think about it more and consider how you can use your body to communicate, you will become more and more natural.

More specifically, let's talk about hand gestures. Using our hands, we can emphasize our main points, remind our listener how many main points we have, and let our listener know when we are changing topics. A dramatic movement of the hand or moving our hands wide apart can signal how important something is. We can even use two fingers, either close together or far apart, to show how big something is. To show VERY strong feeling we could clap our hands together loudly or make a fist (put our fingers in a ball as though we want to hit someone) and hit a table or desk. To show that we welcome someone, on the other hand, we can hold our hands out with the palms up, and maybe move them towards a chair to invite someone to sit next to us.

Sorry..According to their sunsign..

The way people apologise and their style of saying sorry depends a lot
on their personality and zodiac traits. No wonder Leos embarrass you
when they say sorry while Arians will actually annoy you with their
apology?..

Aries: For starters, Arians think they are so sweet, they could not have
possibly said or done things that need an apology. So in the unlikely
possibility of them actually going down their knees to apologise, it
will be a simple sorry.Nothing less, nothing more.

Taurus: They are so scared to face others when they make a mistake that
by the time they resurface to tender an apology, the damage is done. So
Taurans end up making foes out of friends because of their laxity in
apologizing.

Gemini: Geminis think they are infallible and therefore will never
really apologise for anything. But once they realize, they prefer to act
as if nothing happened, and behave normally with people who have a
problem rather than remind others of the incident by tendering an apology.

Cancer: Cancerians will make you feel sorry for demanding one when
they make a mistake. They are the legendary characters that burn hands
and slash their fingers! in order to display the quantum of their
repentance. Their repentance is dangerous.

Leo: Leos are a delightful bunch even when they are trying to make up
for their follies. They will go down their knees, buy flowers, put up
sorry posters.. do everything colorful to flatter you and make up for
their mistakes. In fact it's fun to induce them to make a mistake and let
them apologize for it.

Virgo: Virgos will first formally set aside a time and date and inform
them what they want to tell you. Then they will mentally prepare
themselves to talk out the same things. They will finally draft the
script and read out whatever they want to. In short, even their heartfelt
apologies sound like well-drafted scripts.

Libra: They are very vocal once they realize their folly. They never
ever hesitate to come clean and admit their mistakes. In fact, they will
go out of their way to convince you about how genuinely sorry they are.

Scorpio: Scorpios are formal and think that tendering an apology is
more of a formality. So instead of just saying sorry, they will send a
formal mail or send a card, whatever it takes to avoid direct
confrontation.

Sagittarius: Sagittarians don't believe in being sorry or apologizing.
For them, it is human to err and therefore saying sorry is just
redundant. Interestingly, even if others make mistakes,
they are pretty cool and don't expect much from them.

Capricorn: They can't take a simple sorry. They need
reasons, explanations, written letters and the works to get elicit an 'ok, you may go now'
phrase. They are hard to please and even harder
to appease.

Aquarius: They are sweet, genuine and innovative when they think they
are wrong and need to undo the damage.Aquarians are easy on their
mistakes and don't take too much time to do
their sorrying.

Pisces: Pisceans don't easily give in because they believe that
everything is about perspective. So if somebody thinks they made a mistake! ,
it's because they have a wonky perspective. Pisceans and apologies? No
chance!!!

How to Become Super-Positive!

If your get-up and go has gotten up and gone, then it's time to start stirring up those positive vibes...

It's a well-known fact that positive-minded people are more likely to achieve their life's goals. When you're upbeat, everything looks different; your day is brighter and full of potential. What's more, opportunities more readily come your way, and you're able to face challenges with a sense of ease. In fact, being in an optimistic frame of mind can help you gain success and greater levels of happiness.

However, not everyone finds it easy to be super-positive. It requires a change in perspective and focused intentions to break away from redundant beliefs and negativity, but once you start changing your outlook,
you'll feel motivated, energized, and empowered.

To become super-positive so that you can achieve your goals and enjoy a fulfilling life, try the following:

1. When you get up in the morning, don't allow any negative thoughts to surface -- no matter your situation or circumstances. Stretch, breathe-in, and believe that you can make good things happen. Affirm to yourself, "I am happy and positive, and I'm going to have a wonderful day."
Believe it!

2. Have your own mantra to help you achieve your goals -- it can be anything relevant to your needs and ambitions, such as "I can do it!" or "I will succeed!" If you're feeling slightly out of kilter, repeat your mantra, either silently or out loud to yourself. Believe in the words.
Trust in your mantra. You really can achieve your goals.

3. Smile even if you're down and laugh at yourself and the world. Life is wonderful and multi-faceted. Whatever the problem, a little bit of humor will make everything seem easier to cope with. Besides, a little bit of laughter on a daily basis is good for your health and well-being.
When you laugh, your internal organs gain a workout, and laughter drives fresh oxygen around your body. So, take some time out to see the funny side of your world. Often, it's never as bad as you think. Seek out
the positive in every situation.

4. Reflect on all your achievements so far. You've come further than you think! Make a list of what you have gained in your life. Don't just notch up the career or money successes. Think about the experiences that
you have accumulated and the personal qualities that you have acquired.
By focusing on these achievements, it will boost your self-esteem.

5. Remind yourself about what you're trying to achieve. Are your goals still relevant? Sometimes, we have to reassess our direction because things change in our lives... we change too. What you once wanted and
would give anything for might not be what you really want now. When you're on the wrong path, you'll have a vague sense of being out of kilter with everything. Trust your inner wisdom and intuition. Note how your current circumstances make you feel. Be prepared to change your life or jump out of your current comfort zones. Once you're on the right path, you'll start feeling more positive.

6. Walk out on a regular basis and get some fresh oxygen circulating through your blood. Take a stroll through the park. Climb a mountain! Awake those feel-good vibes. Regular exercise will enhance your mood and make you feel super-positive.

7. Make sure your glass is always half-full rather than half-empty. To be super-positive, you must think on the positive side of everything. Eliminate any negative dialogue. Listen to your internal voice as well as your external one. If you catch yourself saying or thinking something that is negative, stop, rewind and replace those words with a positive statement. It takes practice, time, and determination, but after a while, you'll start eliminating those pesky negative vibes.

8. Create abundance in your life... believe in your ability to make things happen. Your positive state of mind will act like a magnet by attracting positive experiences. Focus on what you want; be optimistic and be more abundant. You really can have the life you most desire!

9. Devote a bit of your time and energy to a good cause. If you're able, always give something back! The world needs super-positive people like you to make it even better than what it is. You can inject some of your positive energy into charitable ventures or simply by showing your kindness on a daily basis.

10. Don't stress about the things you cannot change. Work on the things you can. By being positive about life and focusing on the things that you can transform, you'll discover a world full of opportunities and potential waiting for you to explore.

Whether good or bad, you have choices in how you react to whatever comes your way.

Why be miserable when you can smile? Why dwell on sadness when you can choose happiness?

Life will always have its ups and downs, but if you focus on the positive and become super-positive, you will experience greater happiness and contentment.

So, don't just sit around; make a decision to become that super-positive person that you have always wanted to be and make sure you live an astounding life!

Thanks..........

~*~ What is Love by Kids ~*~ Sukh S

What is Love by Kids

A group of professional people posed this question to a group of 4 to 8 year-olds, "What does love mean?" The answers they got were broader and deeper than anyone could have imagined.

When my grandmother got arthritis, she couldn't bend over and paint her toenails anymore. So my grandfather does it for her all the time, even when his hands got arthritis too. That's love. Rebecca - age 8

When someone loves you, the way they say your name is different. You know that your name is safe in their mouth. Billy - age 4

Love is when a girl puts on perfume and a boy puts on shaving cologne and they go out and smell each other. Karl - age 5

Love is when you go out to eat and give somebody most of your French fries without making them give you any of theirs. Chrissy - age 6

Love is what makes you smile when you're tired. Terri - age 4

Love is when my mommy makes coffee for my daddy and she takes a sip before giving it to him, to make sure the taste is OK. Danny - age 7

Love is when you kiss all the time. Then when you get tired of kissing, you still want to be together and you talk more. My Mommy and Daddy are like that. They look gross when they kiss. Emily - age 8

Love is what's in the room with you at Christmas if you stop opening presents and listen. Bobby - age 7 (Wow!)

If you want to learn to love better, you should start with a friend who you hate. Nikka - age 6

Love is when you tell a guy you like his shirt, then he wears it everyday. Noelle - age 7

Love is like a little old woman and a little old man who are still friends even after they know each other so well. Tommy - age 6

My mommy loves me more than anybody. You don't see anyone else kissing me to sleep at night. Clare - age 6

Love is when Mommy gives Daddy the best piece of chicken. Elaine-age 5

Love is when Mommy sees Daddy smelly and sweaty and still says he is handsomer than Robert Redford. Chris - age 7

Love is when your puppy licks your face even after you left him alone all day. Mary Ann - age 4

I know my older sister loves me because she gives me all her old clothes and has to go out and buy new ones. Lauren - age 4

When you love somebody, your eyelashes go up and down and little stars come out of you. Karen - age 7

You really shouldn't say 'I love you' unless you mean it. But if you mean it, you should say it a lot. People forget. Jessica - age 8

The final one -- Is from a contest that was held to find the most caring child....

And the winner was a four-year-old child whose next door neighbor was an elderly gentleman who had recently lost his wife. Upon seeing the man cry, the little boy went into the old gentleman's yard, climbed onto his lap, and just sat there. When his Mother asked him what he had said to the neighbor, the little boy said, "Nothing, I just helped him cry."

This is why I love children!!!!
Have a nice day!

And yes............donot forget to right ur opinions now..................ha ha :)) Love u all....................................

Attitude Determines Attitude..I LOV

I woke up early today, excited over all I get to do before the clock strikes midnight. Do Not Interfere In Others' Business Unless Asked

Most of us create our own problems by interfering too often in others'
affairs. We do so because somehow we have convinced ourselves that our way is the best way, our logic is the perfect logic and those who do not conform to our thinking must be criticized and steered to the right direction, our direction. This thinking denies the existence of individuality and consequently the existence of God. God has created each one of us in a unique way. No two human beings can think or act in exactly the same way.

All men or women act the way they do because God within them prompts them that way. There is God to look after everything. Why are you bothered? Mind your own business and you will keep your peace.

2. Forgive And Forget
This is the most powerful aid to peace of mind. We often develop ill feelings inside our heart for the person who insults us or harms us. We nurture grievances. This in turn results in loss of sleep, development of stomach ulcers, and high blood pressure. This insult or injury was done once, but nourishing of grievance goes on forever by constantly remembering it. Get over this bad habit. Believe in the justice of God and the doctrine of Karma. Let Him judge the act of the one who insulted you. Life is too short to waste in such trifles. Forgive, Forget, and march on. Love flourishes in giving and forgiving.

3. Do Not Crave For Recognition
This world is full of selfish people. They seldom praise anybody without selfish motives. They may praise you today because you are in power, but no sooner than you are powerless, they will forget your achievement and will start finding faults in you. Why do you wish to kill yourself in striving for their recognition? Their recognition is not worth the aggravation. Do your duties ethically and sincerely and leave therest to God.

4. Do Not Be Jealous
We all have experienced how jealousy can disturb our peace of mind. You know that you work harder than your colleagues in the office, but sometimes they get promotions; you do not. You started a business several years ago, but you are not as successful as your neighbor whose business is only one year old. There are several examples like these in everyday life. Should you be jealous? No.Remember everybody's life is shaped by his or her previous Karma, which has now become his destiny. If you are destined to be rich, nothing in the world can stop you. If you are not so destined, no one can help you either. Nothing will be gained by blaming others for your misfortune. Jealousy will not get you anywhere; it will only take away your peace of mind.

5. Change Yourself According To The Environment If you try to change the environment single-handedly, the chances are you will fail. Instead, change yourself to suit your environment. As you do this, even the environment, which has beenunfriendly to you, will mysteriously change and seem congenial and harmonious.

6. Endure What Cannot Be Cured
This is the best way to turn a disadvantage into an advantage. Every day we face numerous inconveniences, ailments, irritations, and accidents that are beyond our control. If we cannot control them or change them, we must learn to put up with these things. We must learn to endure them cheerfully thinking, "God wills it so, so be it." God's plan is beyond our comprehension. Believe in it and you will gain in terms of patience, inner strength and will power.

7. Do Not Bite Off More Than You Can Chew This maxim needs to be remembered constantly. We often tend to take more responsibilities than we are capable of carrying out. This is done to satisfy our ego. Know your limitations. Why take on additional loads that may create more worries? You cannot gain peace of mind by expanding your external activities. Reduce your material engagements and spend time in prayer, introspection and meditation. This will reduce those thoughts in your mind that make you restless. Uncluttered mind will produce greater peace of mind.

8. Meditate Regularly
Meditation calms the mind and gets rid of disturbing thoughts. This is the highest state of peace of mind. Try and experience it yourself. If you meditate earnestly for half an hour everyday, your mind will tend to become peaceful during the remaining twenty-three and half-hours. Your mind will not be easily disturbed as it was before. You would benefit by gradually increasing the period of daily mediation. You may think that this will interfere with your daily work. On the contrary, this will increase your efficiency and you will be able to produce better results in less time.

9. Never Leave The Mind Vacant
An empty mind is the devil's workshop. All evil actions start in the vacant mind. Keep your mind occupied in something positive, something worthwhile.
Actively follow a hobby. Do something that holds your interest. You must decide what you value more: money or peace of mind.
Your hobby, like social work or temple work, may not always earn you more money, but you will have a sense of fulfillment and achievement. Even when you are resting physically, occupy yourself in healthy reading or mental chanting of God's name.

10. Do Not Procrastinate And Never Regret Do not waste time in protracted wondering " Should I or shouldn't I?" Days, weeks, months, and years may be wasted in that futile mental debating. You can never plan enough because you can never anticipate all future happenings. Always remember, God has His own plan, too for you. Value you time and do the things that need to be done. It does not matter if you fail the first time. You can learn from your mistakes and succeed the next time. Sitting back and worrying will lead to nothing.
Learn from your mistakes, but do not brood over the past. DO NOT REGRET.
Whatever happened was destined to happen only that way. Take it as the Will of God. You do not have the power to alter the course of God's Will. Why cry over spilt milk

LETS THERE BE SUNSHINE ALL OF YOUR DAYS

<span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(96, 96, 96); something both of u enjoy or are intrested in.If u're spending more time with ur friends rather than with ur partner,it's a warning sign that u,re drifting apart!!!

4.MEET EACH OTHER HALFWAY.
If he agrees to throw out that rotten T-shirt with "The_Rock"print,u shouldn't kick up much of a fuss if he asks u to keep ur room tidy. There's gotta be a little giving and taking in a releationship,so learn to meet each other halfway.

5.SHOW OR LOVE
Buy her or him small lovely gift everynow and then, even if u hav been together for 5years.It's wonderful to continue showing someone that u care for him or her... so she or he knows u can still be romentic & loving despite having been together for quite a while.

6.RESPECT EACH OTHER.
Stop making jokes about her hair or skin, or whatever it is u love to laugh at.ask urself if she thinks if its funny.and if he has an inferiortiy
complex about his height, stop ogling at tall guys and make him feel worse!Love is abot respecting each other's feelings and being sensitive to each other at all times.

7.BURY THE PAST
Stop bringing up the past.Gals... don't bring up the happy things about u and ur ex guy,it would just make him jealous or unhappy.and guys, don't talk about the happy times that u had with ur ex or mention about her in ur every other sentence as it would make ur gal feel un-happy and she might think that u saying all this b'cos u are gonna get back with ur ex or not intrested in her anymore.

8.SIT IN UR JEALOUSY.
All of us go thru' spells of insecurity at the beginning of the releationship, but don't translate that insecurity into jealousy.if u 'ar gonna go through ur partner's mail and cupboard, and eavesdropping on conversations,u know something is wrong-with u!!! Jealousy is lik a poison that slowly spreads thru' the releationship
before finally killing it.Trust ur partner; love has to have trust in it.

9.KEEP UR COMMITMENTS TO EACH OTHER.
If ur partner is standing u up all the time and cancelling dates and breaking promises,u need to talk! If u're in a releationship, make ur partner ur priority and don't disappoint them if u can help it.it's really terrible when someone promises to take u to dinner,& then calls to cancel it.Don't make promises u can't keep. If ur partner starts to feel that he or she is not important enough to u,u may jus loose him/ her.

10.BE HONEST
When we say "be honest" we mean expressing ur feelings clearly, not being bitingly cruel. When u're hurt ,say so,or when u're angry, tell him or her.If u can't be honest with ur partner, who can u be honest with?Love is also about honesty ,and a releationship where no honesty exists probably isn't worth it!

Thanks

Most Beautiful Heart

One day a young man was standing in the middle of the town proclaiming that he had the most beautiful heart in the whole valley. A large crowd gathered and they all admired his heart for it was perfect. There was not a mark or a flaw in it. Yes, they all agreed it truly was the most beautiful heart they had ever seen. The young man was very proud and boasted more loudly about his beautiful heart.

Suddenly, an old man appeared at the front of the crowd and said, "Why your heart is not nearly as beautiful as mine."

The crowd and the young man looked at the old man's heart. It was beating strongly, but full of scars, it had places where pieces had been removed and other pieces put in, but they didn't fit quite right and there were several jagged edges. In fact, in some places there were deep gouges where whole pieces were missing. The people stared -- how can he say his heart is more beautiful, they thought?

The young man looked at the old man's heart and saw its state and laughed. "You must be joking," he said. "Compare your heart with mine, mine is perfect and yours is a mess of scars and tears."

"Yes," said the old man, "Yours is perfect looking but I would never trade with you. You see, every scar represents a person to whom I have given my love - I tear out a piece of my heart and give it to them, and often they give me a piece of their heart which fits into the empty place in my heart, but because the pieces aren't exact, I have some rough edges, which I cherish, because they remind me of the love we shared.

"Sometimes I have given pieces of my heart away, and the other person hasn't returned a piece of his heart to me. These are the empty gouges -- giving love is taking a chance. Although these gouges are painful, they stay open, reminding me of the love I have for these people too, and I hope someday they may return and fill the space I have waiting. So now do you see what true beauty is?"

The young man stood silently with tears running down his cheeks. He walked up to the old man, reached into his perfect young and beautiful heart, and ripped a piece out. He offered it to the old man with trembling hands.

The old man took his offering, placed it in his heart and then took a piece from his old scarred heart and placed it in the wound in the young man's heart. It fit, but not perfectly, as there were some jagged edges.

The young man looked at his heart, not perfect anymore but more beautiful than ever, since love from the old man's heart flowed into his. They embraced and walked away side by side.

How to be creative.......

Found these suggestions about becoming more creative........

1. Curiosity
Learning to ask ‘why’, ‘what if’ and ‘I wonder…’ are great questions t build into your life if you want to be a more creative person.
2. See Problems as Interesting and Acceptable
Instead of seeing problems as obstacles and unacceptable, see problems as natural, normal and fascination.

3. Confront a Challenge
Many creative ideas come from people facing a challenge or crisis. Instead of running from it, ask ‘how can I overcome this’? This will lead to creative ideas.
4. Develop Constructive Discontent
Creative people are often acutely aware of "what’s wrong" with the world around them; however, they are tend to be "constructive in their discontent," letting it motivate them to do something positive.
5. Be Optimistic
Creative people tend to hold the belief that most problems can be solved. By entering every challenge with that belief and optimism, you'll increase your chances of generating creative ideas.
6. Suspend Judgment
Hold off on judging an idea--no matter how off the wall. Reason? Because you NEVER know if that off the wall idea will lead to. The time for judgment is at the end of the creative process, as you evaluate the ideas you have generated...but even then, don't underestimate the value of one idea being a necessary stepping stone for another.
7. Persevere
Obvious. Stick with your ideas, even when things get tough. Some say this is what sets apart the great from the good.

Thanks :)
